Intended Parents - Questions & Answers

What does Synergy Egg Donation look for in an egg donor candidate?
Our donors must be healthy and between the ages 21 and 29 with a body mass index (BMI) below 28. All donors will have completed pre-screening ovarian assessments with a follicle count and/or an AMH level to increase the likelihood of a good number of eggs being retrieved. Donors need to meet other medical requirements to be selected into our program (Egg Donor Requirements). In addition, we require that all of our donors undergo genetic, medical, and infectious disease testing, psychological screening by a licensed therapist, and must be legally cleared prior to egg donation.

How can I get to know more about my donor?
Our donors complete a detailed application describing their medical history, family background, personality traits, and unique interests and provide personal photos that demonstrate their physical characteristics. Certain donors may be comfortable setting up a video call or an in person meeting with intended parents.

What makes Synergy Egg Donation different?
We strive to create as much synergy as possible between our donors, our future intended parents, and their fertility clinics. We get to know each of our donors and focus on obtaining the highest possible quality of eggs for intended parents. We also specialize in finding our intended parents unique donors with different ethnic backgrounds.

How does Synergy Egg Donation find high quality egg donors?

We find our donors through referrals, our website, social media, online forums, and outreach. We use a very detailed and thorough application process to identify the best possible donors.
