Overview of the Egg Donation Process

The Egg Donor Admissions Process​​

  • You will fill out a simple pre-screening questionnaire.
  • Once cleared, you will be asked to complete an egg donor application to help match you with intended parents.
  • You will be contacted to set up a phone consultation where you can ask questions and learn about the process.
  • You will sign documents, provide photos, ID and education verification.
  • You may be asked to complete a simple blood test to test your ovarian reserve and/or a follicle count.

After you complete the admissions process, your profile will be placed in the password protected Synergy Egg Donation database for intended parents to review.

  • You will be selected by Intended Parents (time varies).
  • You will complete a psychological screening (within 2 weeks of selection).
  • You will complete a medical and genetic screening (within 2- 4 weeks of selection).
  • You will complete any legal contracts necessary (within 4-6 weeks of selection).
  • You will complete the medical protocol and egg retrieval (within 3-4 months of selection).
